Well, what a lovely surprise. Today, I received a letter from DLA, after originally being turned down and requesting a review of the decision, I have now been awarded the highest rate! Can't quite get my head round it, as some of you know that I was turned down for ESA, and that DLA originally used the medical report from ESA to turn me down. Really pleased that I don't have to go to appeal and have received an award for 2 years.
Hoping that others get some justice too,
love, Barbara XXXXX

Great news Barbara - does that mean you get your ESA too? or is that a separate appeal?

Barbara
That is fantastic news. Obviously someone who knew what they were talking about reviewed your case and realised you are a genuine case.

That's just brilliant news Barbara It makes me so cross - the same happened to me - many years ago and I had hoped that things had improved Anyway, I hope it gives you a lift - you certainly deserved some good news.
